We named our Czech Alpine chalet after the Limba pine (Zirbelkiefer), which grows in only a few places in the world. And Turracher Höhe on the border of Styria and Carinthia is one of them. The Mercedes snowmobile, from which olive-skinned waiters pour the skiers' favourite prosecco, is also part of the local colour. In Turracher Höhe, you can experience a winter holiday with everything that belongs to the Alps. And what about the skiing? The Turracher Höhe ski area is about 700 metres from the Limba hut. You can get back to the chalet by a comfortable downhill run directly from the slopes. Skiers and snowboarders have a total of 43 km of downhill runs to choose from for beginners and advanced skiers alike. You will also enjoy the altitude of the ski area, which extends between 1800 and 2200 metres. This makes Turracher Höhe one of the resorts with a certainty of snow. Are you more of a summer fan?
